I have always been a Basketball fan during my life. In my Junior Year, I helped the Basketball Team with water for a few games. In Senior Year, I decided to try to be with them for the whole season. Our Head Coach was and still is Patrick Massaroni. Our assistant coaches were Rodney Swain, Max Magee, Todd Smith, Kyle Reynolds, and Christopher Lowe. We play in the "AA" division of the New York Catholic High School Athletic Association. That level has some of the highest Division I recruits in New York City and the Nation.

Our season began on the road against St. Raymond's High School in the Bronx. We had the lead for most of the game, but after a missed foul, the opposing player took it back to the other backboard to get the winning buzzer beater. Throughout December, we had to travel more than 30 minutes to our opponents. On January 5, 2018, we played Iona Prep at the Westchester County Center. It, too was an exciting game and we beat them in two overtimes.

From there, we had many exciting home games. We beat Cardinal Hayes at Home for the First time in many years. We got our revenge on St. Raymond's at home. A week later, we were going to play our Archrivals of the Gaels from Iona Prep. The game was scheduled for Super Bowl Sunday Eve at Iona College. Their fan base surpassed ours and the team was not able to win leaving some of us in doubt. After that point, we won every game. We would get our revenge on several teams, including Iona and beat St. Raymond's again. In the second round of the city playoffs, we played powerhouse Archbishop Molloy and won. We beat Christ the King in the Championship. Two weeks later, we went to Glens Falls, and played Long Island Lutheran, and South Shore to win the State Federation.
