My First Time At Fenway

So somehow, I have never been to Fenway in my life until last night.
I got to Boston at about 4:30 yesterday. I walked around Boston for a bit and then went to the game.

I got to Fenway and I asked if I could bring food in. It was really not in my interest to buy any of the stadium food. Although I did later on. Luckily for me there was a CVS right across the street from the outfield gate. I ran over bought a large bag of barbecue fritos and a water bottle and I went in.
For those of you who have never been to Fenway, it is the oldest stadium still in use in all of baseball. The stadium is green all around despite the team’s colors being red and blue. There are not many elevators in the park.
Excluding less than five percent of the fans there, everyone was wearing a Boston themed shirt. If you were not wearing a shirt with a red B, you were wearing a shirt with Tom Brady on it, or another Patriots shirt that boasted one of their three Super Bowl Championships in the past four years.
The visiting team was the Kansas City Royals, who actually had a good amount of their fan base make the trip to New England. My seat was in the bleachers. I watched the first few innings and decided to walk around the stadium considering the history it has. What was cool was they had a display of all the movies that had been filmed in Fenway.
I bought a refillable popcorn helmet, which I refilled once after I got the first serving Their concession stands are not big name corporations. For instance, they did not have McDonalds or Burger King.
After Take Me Out to the Ballgame, I decided it was time for me to get to my motel. It was a great game and its another stadium I have down on my list.
