On a Thursday night game before the Rosh Hashanah holiday, Monroe Woodbury capitalized on several Lourdes penalties.

Several times, the Warriors were called for holding, offsides, and pass interference.
"We made a lot of mistakes," said Lourdes Head Coach Sean Keenan.
"They're a very good team, and you can't make any mistakes against a team that's like that."
"We made the mistakes, and they didnt, and they deserved to win."
There were also several close injury calls on the field, including starters like Liam Harris, Joey Tempestilli, and Mike Sabini.
Monroe Woodbury won the second half 12-8.
Two field goals were kicked by Monroe Woodbury senior Quincy Banker.
"My team put me in that situation to be there," said Banker.
"Without the offense and the offensive line, those kicks are not happening, and I'm very grateful for them."
"The job's not done yet, we have to keep going."
The Warriors were up 20-12, however the Crusaders of Monroe Woodbury would score two unanswered touchdowns.
Senior quarterback David Fennessy of Monroe Woodbury was the star of their team, scoring three touchdowns, one passing in the first half, and two quarterback keepers in the second half.
The passing touchdown was to senior Wide Receiver Bryce Coulanges.
"I had a couple of runs that got called back," he said.
"As soon as I caught the ball, I knew it was go time."
"I've been training the whole offseason, and I have been able to execute because of the way my team blocks."
"We had a great game plan this week," said Fennessy.
"Coach James Sciarra put together a great game plan and knew what they were going to do on defense."
"I was pulling it, and I trusted my teammates to block," he says of the game winning touchdown.
After the game winning touchdown Lourdes had under ninety seconds to score.
However, Mike Sabini threw a long pass which was intercepted by senior cornerback, Kyle German, which sealed the game for the Crusaders.
