Unfortunately, injuries are very costly for teams.

With no AJ Griffin, Stepinac's only big players are RJ Davis and Malcolm Chimezie. Griffin is really the big man for Stepinac, the commander.

"We have to work on catching the ball better," said Chimezie.

Sr. Raymond Head Coach Jorge Lopez was hopeful before the game since Stepinac did not have one of its best players.

"It felt great to best Step. We have a goal and that is March 15th", said Kedar Davis sophomore forward of St. Raymond. "I did think it was possible because hard work will always beat talent any day."

St. Raymond will travel to Iona Prep this Friday to take on the Gaels.

Stepinac will head to Queens Tuesday to play St. Francis Prep.
