Why Tuck'd Away was and is my favorite place for pre and post game food.

Aside from the sports side of me, there is a food side of me. And these wings are from Tuck'd Away.
If you live in NYC area and have not had Tuck'd Away wings before, you are missing out.
The first time I went to Tuck'd Away was quite a few years ago. It opened about five or six years ago.
These wings have always played a huge part in my career as a sports fan. Whenever I want to have good wings during a football game, I always visit this place. These are the reasons the wings are so good. You get a whole strip of chicken, dipped in one of twelve sauces. The skin is so crunchy which makes the wings all the better. Do not even get me started on the fries.
The food you put in your stomach during a sporting event defines your experience, and whether it was a cheeseburger or something else you had in your mouth, when your team was in a tight fourth quarter situation and came back, it makes it all the difference.
For this reason I visit Tuck'd Away. Its name is actually ironic. The place is actually tucked away. Whenever I describe to someone where in the Tuckahoe village it is, they have not a clue what I am talking about.
It is a nice place for a first date. It is a small place with fancy food, a little on the pricy side at times, but not paying for a meal at the Waldorf.
Tuesday Night Trivia is always fun, and that is the night I go there. I have celebrated many events at Tuck'd Away, and will be there on Tuesdays during the summer. When is the next time you will eat some wings?
